It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of beachy, coastal blues and that I can always find a way to incorporate them into every season from Spring through Christmas!

These restful shades, when used with lots of white trimwork and tons of natural light, help to create a calm atmosphere in a home. I love how they can evokes feelings of a simpler time and how easy it is to pair other seasonal colours with them.

The darker richer shades shown here I tend to use as accents or on furniture, although I have used them in large areas as well if the space allows. Below is my family's dining room, where I have used Fusion Mineral Paint in Heirloom on my chairs (another one of my favourites) similar to Benjamin Moore Woodlawn Blue.

On the interior doors of our home, I have used Benjamin Moore's Fiji with black hardware. My husband saw a similar look in a Home Depot flyer over a decade ago and we've loved it ever since. For some people the colour may be too much, but with the Gray Owl walls and crisp white details, we haven't tired of it in 7 years!
